WHAT IT IS:
A chemical peel is a solution of active acids that exfoliate the dead skin cells, aiding in cellular turn over, revealing new healthy skin. Depending on the strength of the solution, chemical peels can be no- downtime meaning no visible peeling or sloughing of the skin, to moderate downtime meaning visible peeling for 7-10 days.

iS Chemical Peels
iS Clinical offers a variety of facial peels! Peeling agents include alpha hydroxy acids, salicylic acid, beta hydroxy acids, retinol, and more! Varying peels can smooth fine lines, improve uneven skin tone, brighten dry skin, and target other skin concerns.
Pregnancy-Safe Peels
Pregnant women are recommended to avoid most cosmetic treatments since there is little research about how various chemicals and toxins can spread throughout the body. iS Clinical has made specialty chemical peels that make cosmetic treatment safe for all our patients, including pregnant women!
The Fire & Ice Facial exfoliates the skin with a blend of powerful antioxidants, retinol, vitamin B3, and acids like glycolic acid, lactic acid, citric acid, and malic acid. Next, a skin-soothing and cooling blend of green tea, hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, and natural extracts is applied to the skin.
The Foaming Enzyme treatment is another pregnancy-safe option that is also safe for sensitive skin. A gentle foaming masque is massaged into the skin followed by a hydrating serum. The Foaming Enzyme Facial uses natural-based enzymes derived from pineapple and papaya along with glycolic acid for a smoothing, brightening effect.
Perfect Derma Chemical Peels
The Perfect Derma Peel is a medium chemical peel that uses a powerful antioxidant called glutathione along with various acids and vitamin C to brighten and smooth the skin. Other options from The Perfect Derma line include the Perfect Derma Clear and Perfect Derma Plus. The Perfect Derma Clear is an acne peel that uses benzoyl peroxide to target moderate to severe acne and acne scars on the face and body. The Perfect Derma Plus uses a potent solution with 4% hydroquinone to effectively penetrate and treat thick and/or oily skin.
SkinMedica Peels
SkinMedica offers three peels in varying strengths that penetrate the skin at different depths to target different skin conditions. The Illuminize Peel is a light peel that immediately smooths the skin without any skin peeling or flaking. A slightly stronger option is the Vitalize Peel which peels the skin at a medium depth. Light peeling will occur for about 7 days and as the dead skin flakes away, patients will see improvements in acne scarring, wrinkles, and uneven pigmentation.
The strongest SkinMedica peel is the Rejuvenize Peel. This deep chemical peel can target deeper wrinkles and precancerous lesions. To maintain and restore skin health. The Rejuvenize Peel causes skin peeling down to the middle layer of the skin and it can take up to 14 days for the skin to heal.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
You will be dermaplaned (removal of top layer of dead skin cells) and your licensed aesthetician will apply the peel solution that will be chosen based on what your skin concerns are. At ANEU Med Spa, we offer two different tier options for our peels. A luxury chemical peel and an essential. The luxury peel is about 60 minutes, includes face, neck and chest, extractions, a pre treatment masque, Peel-Toner solution, treatment serums, and finishing products.
The essential peel includes face only, a dermaplane, peel solution, treatment serum + finishing products and is a 45 minute service. Perfect for those on the go! *note there are no extractions included in this treatment.
RESULTS:
Your skin feels smoother and brighter after 7 days and will see the best results by receiving a peel every 6-8 weeks on average.
