PRP injections trigger the body's natural healing process and encourage the growth of new, healthy tissues. These healthy tissues and the production of new collagen resurface the skin and "cover-up" damaged surface skin cells. The results are both immediate and long-lasting.

What to Expect From Your PRP Treatment
During PRP treatments, PRP is obtained through a blood draw from each patient’s own blood. The vial of blood is spun in a centrifuge machine to separate the white blood cells (containing PRP) from red blood cells and other blood components. The purified PRP (aka your Liquid Gold!) is then injected into the treatment area using a thin needle if treating a specific area such as under eyes. With SkinPen Microneedling (link) , the PRP is dripped onto your skin so that it may channel deeper into your skin by the channels caused by the SkinPen Microneedling device. We offer topical numbing cream prior to either treatment for added comfort!
Recovery
PRP injections into specific areas of the face such as under eyes, bruising and swelling is to be expected, on average lasting 2-5 days, depending on how your body heals.
PRP infused with SkinPen Microneedling depends on the depth of your microneedling treatment. Most clients feel their skin is fully healed between 4-6 days on average.
PRP for Hairloss is quite easy as any (low) risk of bruising or swelling is easily hidden by your existing hair or by a clean hat!
